Cellular Automata Star

With some C++ guidance from Florian Ho├źnig, I've been developing a 3D implementation of the ray automata. All the demos in 2d can be done in 3d as well. (Or Nd, if you prefer for some strange reason.) Here are a few videos of early results. The volume rendering is just brute force ray marching.

Static geometry isn't nearly as fun as living geometry, don't you agree?
