Unbound is a startup I co-founded with Florian Hoënig in 2013 dedicated to the creation of a shared, planet scale, volumentric world which can be sculpted like clay.
My primary work was focused on research and development of efficient parallel algorithms for the creation and simulation of artificial nature, as well as providing direction and design guided by the concepts of computational creativity and the joy of emergent exploration.
Our goal is to erase the divide between the player and the developer; to turn everyone into a creator of a shared and evolving reality. In short, some pretty slick tech.
In late 2015 I stepped back from a fulltime role with Unbound to focused fulltime on Lir, but work continues to this day.
